Okay, this is definitely a Texan-ized version of the terrific bubble (Boba) teas you can find in shops from Montrose to Sugarland, and definitely in Chinatown (Bellaire Boulevard between 59 and the Beltway) and the Vietnamese district in mid-town Houston.  Still, when you can’t get to a teahouse or spend your vacation in rural Texas towns, you can make do by making it yourself!  Carlyn’s Texas Boba Tea.
