Peach Pie

Dirk’s Favorite Peach Pie

 

  • 2 pie crusts (Flaky pie crust recipe)
  • 1 large 29-oz. can yellow cling peaches, in syrup (sliced)
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon sugar

 

Line pie pan with first crust.  Combine peaches, syrup and spices and turn into pie crust.  Cover with remaining crust and bake at 350° F for 20-30 minutes or until crusts edges flake when touched with a fork.  (The Flaky Pie Crust recipe results in a crust which rarely browns.)

 

Serve hot with vanilla ice cream.
