Sage Dressing

Pepperidge Farm DressingMake and easy and delicious cornbread dressing by starting with a Pepperidge Farm package.

You can add any ingredients you like. I used Jimmy Dean Sage sausage and the onion and celery that was stuffed inside a roasted turkey. Some people add seafood like oysters, others like hard boiled eggs and green onions. Add the items you like best.

  • 1 package Pepperidge Farm Cornbread stuffing
  • 1 roll (12-16 oz) bulk sausage like Jimmy Dean Sage, fully cooked and crumbled into small pieces.
  • 1 cup chopped celery, raw or previously sauteed or baked in turkey
  • 1 cup chopped onion, previously sauteed or baked in turkey
  • 2 cups broth
  • 2 Tablespoons butter or oil

Mix according to the package directions and place in a baking pan.

Bake 30 minutes at 350° F. The stove top method works, but the crispy top crust only occurs when you bake it.
