This mild tuna salad recipe pleases everyone, including children. My mother, Diane Chambers Foshee, was an only child for her first twelve years and walked home from elementary school every day to have lunch with her mother. Her daily lunch was one half a tuna sandwich and a glass of orange juice. This is the tuna salad recipe her mother used. After lunch, Diane walked back to school to finish the day and walked home again after school. This was in the 1940s in a community on the east side of Houston.
