Everyone makes their guacamole a little different. This is the recipe that Mark makes for our own guests and suppers.
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/4 packet Guacamole seasoning (Concord Foods’ brand, can be ordered online but is often found in produce section)
Slice avocados in half; one side will contain the seed. Without removing the skin, slice into the flesh of the avocado to create chunks. Spoon the chunks into a bowl and scatter the powdered spices over the avocados. Blend with a spoon or fork until you have a chunky consistency. Add a little salsa for more spice. Allow the guacamole to sit 15 minutes for the flavors to blend. Serve with crispy tortilla chips.
