These are the meals you will cook your fourth week. There are 5 main dishes. Once again, wing it for weekends, breakfast, and lunch. Only a few of the entrees use box mixes and you are beginning to depend on your instincts for cooking “from scratch.” Pressed for time? Don’t hesitate to repeat any easy meals from the previous weeks if you are still finding too little time to spend in the kitchen. If you repeat meals, adjust your Week Four Shopping List.
- Wick Fowler’s Two Alarm Chili (with ground beef or turkey, or vegetarian-style with lima beans)
- Lima Beans
- Cornbread
- Auntie Leah’s Chicken Noodle Soup (can be made vegetarian)
- Vegetarian Frittattas (can add left-over cooked meat)
- Skillet Potatoes (Country-style Hash Browns)
- Thai Chicken Stir-Fry with Green Beans
- Corn on the Cob
- Chunky Bell Pepper and Peach Salsa
- Skillet Grilled Chicken Breasts
- Spanish Rice
- 2 Bad Bananas Bread or Muffins (easy breakfast or dessert!)
